Introduction
I first saw recycled glass wind chimes about 15 years ago at the Olla Podrida art mall in Dallas, TX. They were made from old Dr. Pepper bottles. I loved the idea, and it never left my head. Several years later, my brother and sister-in-law gave me a wind chime crafted from cut wine bottles. A-ha! Another neat idea. In 2006, my husband gave me a wonderful Valentine's gift. He enrolled us in a glass blowing class in Grapevine, TX. It was fantastic! The thought that I could do something like this grew from there.
